Your first payout in any calendar month also carries a small Stripe monthly account fee, not shown in this per-sale example.

In these examples the Stripe fee is worked out at Stripe's highest card price, 3.15% + EUR 0.25. On a real sale it is what Stripe charged for that card, which can be lower.

Cards taken in person

A card taken in person (Quick Pay or the POS register, with Tap to Pay, a card reader or a countertop reader) carries the same payment fee line as an online payment: Stripe's real fee for that payment. Stripe's price for cards taken in person in Spain is 1.4% + EUR 0.10 for cards from the European Economic Area; Tap to Pay adds EUR 0.10 per authorization.

Stripe's prices for other cards and countries are on Stripe's pricing page.

A real sale can differ slightly: your own VAT rate, rounding, or a payout covering several sales at once. The exact figures for every sale are always in your account.
