Global Company Policy

These policies govern all interactions on the LocalKurb platform — for guests, hosts, and service providers alike. By using LocalKurb, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1.The Marketplace Framework

LocalKurb.com is a digital ecosystem connecting independent third-party providers ("Vendors") with travelers ("Guests"). LocalKurb facilitates these connections but does not own, manage, or control the properties, vehicles, or inventory listed. Our role is to provide the secure infrastructure for these "last-mile" transactions.

2.User Accountability & Platform Access

To ensure a frictionless experience for global users while maintaining community safety:

Financial Traceability:All Guests must maintain a valid, internationally recognized payment method on file. Successful payment authorization acts as the primary layer of user validation.
Communication Standards:Users must provide a verified mobile number and email address. All coordination for shuttles, deliveries, and check-ins must be documented within the LocalKurb platform to ensure a record of service.
Community Conduct:We enforce a strict "Good Neighbor" policy. Unauthorized parties, excessive noise, or illegal activities are strictly prohibited. LocalKurb reserves the right to terminate access for any user who receives a verified Disturbance Report.

3.Mobility & Liability — The "Kurb" Handover

Since LocalKurb hosts users from across the globe, the final verification of operating credentials happens at the point of exchange:

The Physical Check:For all P2P Car Rentals and Shuttle Services, the Vehicle Owner/Driver is responsible for visually inspecting the Guest's physical Driver's License and/or International Driving Permit before handing over keys.
Vehicle Readiness:Owners must ensure vehicles meet local safety standards (e.g., ITV in Spain). Cars must be delivered in a clean, sanitized condition with the agreed-upon fuel level.
Incident Reporting:Any damage or mechanical issues must be reported with timestamped photos via the app within 2 hours of the rental start or end time.

4."Pro-Service" & Provision Guarantee

Turnover Excellence:Cleaning and maintenance vendors are held to a "Guest-Ready" standard. Hosts may request a complimentary re-clean if the service does not meet the 5-star checklist uploaded by the vendor.
Last-Mile Deliveries:Grocery and utility vendors (water, gas, etc.) must deliver to the precise GPS coordinates provided by the Guest. If an item is unavailable, the vendor must offer a suitable substitute or process an immediate partial credit.

5.Payments, Fees, and Cancellations

On-Platform Transactions:To protect the community and ensure insurance coverage, all payments must stay within the LocalKurb app. Circumventing the platform for "cash deals" results in immediate permanent suspension for both Guest and Vendor.
Firm Cancellation Policy:Accommodation bookings follow our standard Firm Policy — a 48-hour booking grace period and a 7-day non-refundable window. Full details are available on the Cancellation Policy page.

6.Dispute Mediation

In the event of a disagreement between a Guest and a Vendor:

Resolution Center:LocalKurb provides a centralized mediation service. We review platform communications, photos, and delivery logs to reach a fair determination.
Finality:By using LocalKurb, users agree that the platform's decision is final for all claims under €500. Claims exceeding this amount will be referred to the legal jurisdiction of the service location.
